Just some old pics, not very good pics, but the only ones we have from last Valentine's Day.

journaling reads:
Hannah, when I was growing up, my dad always got me a little something for Valentine’s Day and would place it on the front porch, ring the doorbell, and run to the back door and come in like nothing had happened. We always knew it was him...but that was part of the fun. To try to catch him. I wanted to do the same for you. Daddy picked out a coloring book and crayons and a pink purse...he didn’t want to give you candy, but I snuck some in. Being in an apartment, Daddy couldn’t exactly sneak in a back door, so we placed it outside and knocked on the wall. Fooled you! You ran and opened the door. You thought it very strange that there would be a purse on your front doorstep, and no person. But in the end you picked it up and dug in. Candy first. Coloring second. Happy Valentine’s Day, Princess. ~2005~
