You've got me tearing up reading about Lexie, such a bittersweet page knowing the story behind the photos. Lovely photo collage, your pups seem to really fet into the spirit!
awesome 2 pager- LOVE the collage & then the focus on each of the dogs on the other- beautiful- it's great you have these photos to remember her full of life & fun
Great double page, love how many pics you were able to get on there. The little paw punch work is super cute. The journaling made me cry, I'm glad you have these photos
What a wonderful collage. I'm sorry about Lexi - we're just destined to outlive them, but it means that we have the power to give them full and rich lives while they enrich ours. It's nice that you have such wonderful photos to remember her.
Absolutely adorable!!!!! Your 2-pager is SO MUCH FUN!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful layout with us! You brought me a great big smile this morning!
Okay, well, you've already seen the dogs get their Santa gifts on Christmas 2007 -- here are their presents from under the tree. LOL Lexie really was so much fun to do presents with - she would rip the paper off and open her own boxes and put her head in gift bags. My favorite pic in the collage on the left page here is second from the left and second from the top - she's got her paw on my arm trying to make me hurry and get the treats open. My next favorite is the bottom left - Lexie is getting something out of a box, and you can see that Abby's bone is still on it's way to the floor after she dropped it to run over and see what Lexie got. LOL Silly dogs.
Anyway, this is for the 2 Page Sketch Challenge. Also for the VLB Challenge to doodle on a page with a bonus to doodle on a picture. I outlined all the photos in the collage with gold marker as well as adding some gold dots under the collage and on two of the photos.
Journaling says: Abby's first Christmas - She wasn't sure what to do, but Lexie was happy to show her.
While this was Abby's first Christmas, for all intents and purposes it was really Lexie's last - the last that she was still 'Lexie.' The next year, 2008, she wasn't interested in presents or in much of anything really. Her mind had started to go. And by Christmas 2009, she was gone, so these pictures really mean a lot to me - I'm so glad I have them.
