Normally, I wouldn't do a LO about a movie that dd and I saw together unless I have photos of us from it. I have a couple of those that I need to do, in fact. BUT, I was at Archiver's shortly after we saw and loved Katy Perry: Part of Me, and when I saw this line of pp that looks like it was MADE for the sets and costumes from her California Dreams Tour, I said out loud to myself in the store, "OhMyGod, I have to do a Katy Perry page!" I could think of no other excuse to use this adorable pp. I got the image of the movie poster and the stills from the movie off the internet.

This is my example for my November Four Categories Challenge - Category Three ~ Technique: Fussy Cutting. I fussy cut the 'sweet' journaling block, the ice cream cone, and the trio of larger cupcakes from one sheet of pp, and the smaller cupcake, lollipops, donut, and chocolate heart from another. I used Pop-Up Foam Squares behind some for dimension. I also used a knife to separate part of 3 of the corner candy's from the bg pp so that the photos and journaling circle could tuck under them. I did the same with one of the lollipops on the journaling circle to go over the corner of the movie poster. The twist is to include visible journaling on the page. Mine says: July 16, 2012 - We liked Katy Perry before we went to see this movie, but now, I guess you could say that ... we r KatyCats

This is also for the 'Sweet' challenge in VLB from last month.

I covered my title letters with Stardust Stickles to match the pp.
