What a great shot of her! I love the way you used the actual photo and the newspaper clipping together! The newspaper clipping gives the details and shows that it made the paper, the photo is clear and lets you see the photo better!
The summer between 7th and 8th grade (2010), my dd attended a week long pom pon camp at her future high school. Her picture was in the local paper that Saturday. I was also able to purchase a copy of the photo from the paper, so here, I've included both.
This is my example for my June Four Categories Challenge - Category One ~ Product: June Bugs. I did the twist to use a non-butterfly. :) I have a bee.
This is for the June Sports Challenge - no twist.
I cut her picture out of the paper, and I also cut the top strip off the page she was on to include the date, page, and section. I used Tattered Leather GM on the bare chippie corner piece, and I did the bee trail with Cinnamon Stickles. I got the Corsairs pp and sticker from my LSS, which carries pp's for all the local high schools.
