I love that you used the "old style" stickers. First of all the trends change so fast in scrapping its hard to keep up with whats new and "old." Second, since its Christmas at your parents its perfect that the stickers are old school...parents are always behind the times. So a LO about them should looks a little dated. haha! Lastly, This totally caught my eye off the gallery, so despite the repetitive nature of Christmas photos I think you nailed it. :-)
Still looks great! You used the busy paper very well. Sometimes I think we forget to give ourselves permission to cut that pretty paper up! HAHAHA! I love it! Thanks for sharing!
Very pretty Lisa - I love the balance on this one with the holly in the corners! I agree, Christmas pictures start looking alike (as do Thanksgiving and Easter), but I also try to make each one a little different and special. I think this is a very pretty page!
This is just a quick LO of my photos from Christmas Eve 2009 at my parents' house in Indiana. I went old school, simple with this one. My least favorite thing to scrap is Christmas because the pictures are so similar year after year, and also because the pp's are always so busy. I have a zillion old stickers I bought years and years ago, and I decided to use some of them even though they are 'out of style.' I want to use up some of my old stash.
This is for a VLB challenge to scrap photos that were taken by someone else: the photos on the left page with me in them are from my mom's camera.
Christmas that year was a month after my foot surgery, so I had to wear flip flops - no heels or closed toes. My pants are way too long to be worn with flat shoes - they're dragging 3 inches on the ground. LOL
