These are photos from a high school football game my dd performed at with the hs pom squad when she was in 8th grade. The title is the name of the school pom squad. Journaling says: All the 3rd - 8th grade girls who participated in the CCHS pom summer camp were invited to perform the all squad routine they learned at camp to 'I Want You Back' at half time and cheer on the sidelines for the Sept. 10 football game against St. Viator, a 39-0 victory.
This is my example for my March Four Categories Challenge - Category Three ~ Technique: Collage. I used small photos overlapping across the top and bottom of the LO to create collage borders. This way, I was able to get 28 photos on this 2 pager -- I originally thought I would have to take up four pages in my album for these pictures, but I was able to cut it to two by doing it this way. The borders contain photos of the band, players, mascot, cheerleaders, and pom squad as well as more photos of my dd on the field and the sidelines.
This is for the March Music Challenge - Lyrics. I used 'The Mighty Corsairs' under the main photos, which is part of a lyric in the school fight song: "We are Carmel; we are the brown and gold. The mighty Corsairs; we are the brave and bold." I used a flower shaped button next to the title for the twist.
