I always do monthly summary pages in my albums as an overview and to include random odds and ends, if I have any, that won't fit on other LO's. Usually, I choose some theme or format that carries over all 12 LO's, but for 2011 they will be more of a hodge podge, I think. I attended a class at a LSS at the end of 2010, and we made a little 2011 desk calendar that fit in a CD case, so I'm using those calendar pages. I'm also using a calendar table from MS Word that I put our schedule in and printed on cs. Those are the only things that will carry across all 12 LO's. I didn't choose the papers for the calendar, so some I like more than others. The calendar pages I did for '06, '07, '08, '09, '10, and '13 are in the Month LO's album in my gallery.

This one for January was hard to find pp's to go with it for the LO. I also had a lot of memorabilia that I wanted to use here so it's more collage-y and messy than the one I also just did for February. That bright blue "Lancers" piece is really overpowering, but it amuses me, so I had to use it. LOL

This one has journaling, which says: January 2011 had a few big events besides the usual busy schedule of school and dance. Cassie took the entrance exam for Carmel Catholic High School, and I started taking classes at the College of Lake County, enrolling in Intro to Office Software and Introduction to Paralegal Studies. We got new windows in the family room, and Cassie got her first pointe shoes.

The photo is of the windows in my family room. There is a tag in a pocket behind the calendar with some additional info I wanted to keep.
