Project using a PageMaps sketch to put together a girls night out. Basically lifted Lynn Gharary's layout. Why mess with a good thing? Mixed up some pattern papers from different DCWV Stacks (most from 2009). Used black as a background, several punches, buttons, and even managed to squeeze in some sewing - real and faux! :) I set a time limit of 3 hours. There's a place for hidden journaling although I included journaling as part of the layout.Quite a few older products: American Crafts and 7Gypsies buttons, punches, papers, alpha stickers, shipping tag. My only “new” product was the Doodlebug twine. It's been in my stash but I consider it new since I had to unwrap the cellophane. :)I tried to “connect” my layout by using the same palette of colors from my photos; overlapping layers, embellishments and photos; embellishment clusters with repeating shapes (stars, round buttons) as well as colors; and bringing in the music notes papers which tie in with the movie.Supplies: pattern papers (DCWV Citrus, Mod-Retro, Songbird, and Snapshot Stacks), cardstock (American Crafts), circle cutter (Martha Stewart), punches (Fiskars, Martha Stewart, Creative Memories), buttons (American Crafts, 7Gypsies), twine (Doodlebug, DMC craft thread), shipping tag (Avery), alpha stickers (Making Memories), pen (Zig), adhesive (Scotch ATG, Glue Dots, Scrapbook Adhesives, Zig glue pen, Xyron 150)
