Great way to capture the traditions, and that she made them herself (except for the necklace I'm assuming) is a fantastic idea, and she did a bang-up job on them. Very creative.
Oh, she did a bang up job!! This is absolutely lovely and I'm happy to know she had a great wedding! Super use of your song, too!! Love this! On a side note: I know what you mean about saving $$ on doing the flowers yourself. When we did my parents 50th anniversary party/vow renewal ceremony, the first quote we were given on flowers was almost $600 and the second one was almost $1000. I was absolutely convinced I could do this without breaking the party budget! Ended up making all of the bouquets and decorations for less than $1000. We figured it out that we saved almost $800 by doing everything on our own. It pays to be crafty and thrifty! I rambled, sorry! :)
What a great page! LOVE that these photos were taken and how beautifully you scrapped them! Love the pops of bright color with the pale blue of the washi tape! The tags are a cute touch too!
My daughter married on 3/30. She was on a tight budget, she made her own flower bouquets (she might be switching careers) Doing this saved about $500.
On the bouquet she included the "something old" her quartz necklace; "something borrowed" my Great Grandmothers handkerchief, which all the women of the family had on their wedding day.
The "something new" her necklace; "something blue" not shown her shoes, which no one took a picture of.
His boutonniere was also handmade with a scorpion pin and single rose with baby's-breath. Maybe she should go into floral design.
Entry for May Music Inspiration Challenge - song from Lela Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue - Crystal Gayle; using the lyric "Blue" in the journaling. Twist of brad (top right corner holding tags)
