This is really sweet. I agree with you about the uneven stitching, and not because I can't make a straight line for anything to save my life! I think imperfect adds personality. :)

I tried a little faux stitching with this one, in several different colors. I started to worry when things went a little crooked - but I think it looks pretty convincing. I think it looks better when you don't use a ruler or some type of straight edge, the stitches look better when they're slightly irregular. Also inked the edges of cardstock.
