I like the techniques you used on here, great masking work. I also like the fleur-de-lis, very nice touch. Yes, bad things happen as well as good, it is therapeutic to scrap them too.
WOW~ I know what you mean, Toni~! Sometimes, though, I find that scrapping sad things like this helps with healing. When we had bad flooding in Rochester two years ago, with tons of damage, I scrapped it (somewhere in my gallery) and it really helped...............Love you.
Sometimes I find that the photographs that mean the most are the hardest to scrap. I am not happy with how this turned out. Jerry and I love New Orleans and had made a number of trips to the city prior to Katrina. This was our first trip after the hurricane. I did this for a challenge using Glimmer Mist.
