One of the things Tom and I like to do when we go on vacation is find a local amusement park and visit it. When we went to San Diego, it would SEEM that the logical choice would be Disneyland, but we're kind of off the beaten path people, so we opted for Belmont Park.

We had a really fun time, although it took us two tries to get there. The first time we tried to go, it was closed. We being Okies could not figure out why such a thing would be so, but there you go.

Hubby is the one who always asks somebody if they'll take our picture. He's thoughtful like that. Me, I'm always so excited to be riding a bunny next to a goose that I forget.

This is my round robin lift. I'm a round two player this time, and I had the opportunity to lift Erin for the first time. Her layout, "Love is in the Air" was just lovely - and her style was definitely a bit of a challenge for me as she's an extremely contemporary artist!

Here's a link to Erin's pretty piece of art.

I'm also going to turn this into Doreena's Amusement Park challenge. That one is always fun too!

I used up a bunch of old Kaisercraft product on this. I also created my own little dimensional stickers by layering some patterned paper on chipboard and then using a little heart punch to punch them out. Covered them with some crackle accents and they really pumped up my project a bit. Then I used the punched holes to create a mask for the little brown inked hearts on the script paper. Worked great! The embossing powder is something called Rustique Tin Can from Judikins. I mixed a little patina powder with it for the "love" word just to give it a bit of a feature...
