Journaling:
The big 21. I had been waiting for this day for quite a long time. Finally, it arrived. I had so much fun at Cabana Joes with both of our families. I could not wait to take a sip of that Strawberry Daiquiri. I ended up having just two but I'm sure I could have had about four or five. It was such a great feeling to be twenty-one and be able to drink in a restaurant. I had planned on wanting to go to the boat for awhile, and I was so excited that I was finally up there. When we were there, it wasn't really what I expected. I was hoping to pull down on the handle and have coins pop out. Instead we had to put our money in the machine and when we won, tickets came out. I was pretty upset about that. From there the night got quite sour because Shawn thought every guy in the place was starring at me. So what if they were? I was just trying to win some money! I wasn't worried about who was looking at me. Everyone tends to look at the opposite sex. It's human nature. For the most part, I had a good time at Belterra. Looking back now, I don't know why I made such a big deal about turning 21. May 28th 2005
