Well, after all that - it really turned out beautifully - Love the colors and all the pretty details you added - well worth the effort! Oh, and yes, I have those days all the time! LOL!
I thought I may have been the only one who is a disaster magnet when it comes to rub-ons. sorry you had all this trouble, but it is comforting to know that I am not the only one who has had rub-ons appear from nowhere, and end up on someones face in a photo!!!!! your end result is so perfect you would never have known there was so much suffering involved to create it. beautiful photos & LO!
Wow, 4 weeks already! How time does fly! You've done a great job inspite of all the mishaps! And yes, I know what you mean about everything going wrong. It happens to me all the time it seems!
You can't tell one bit that you had troubles with this layout! It is beautiful! Love the colors! Love how you put everything together! DH looks so, so proud (:
you'd never know this LO caused you any trouble-it came out gorgeous! beautiful colours and I love the scrolly accents! Grandpa does look so proud indeed!
oh I know exactly where you are coming from...but dont stress you have ended up with a very adorable design...just look at the wonderful fotos there of that very proud Grandpa...and your papers and fussy punching are awesome
awwww - now that's one PROUD Grandpa!!! You would never know that this WONDERFULLY ADORABLE lo gave you such grief. You recovered quite nicely. Perfect colors and I love the placement of the chipboard scrolls.
OMG... I have had this happen, where the layout starts out as you envisioned, then crazy stuff starts happening and you find yourself just running damage control. Looking at this, though, I would have never known you had a problem with it if you hadn't said so. It turned out great in spite of itself! Great job!
well, considering all the trouble it caused you, it is certainly a beautiful lo, love the scrapmatts, they are the perfect touch and your little grandbaby is gorgeous!!
I didn't know you could remove rub-ons with adhesive eraser! I am going to get me one of those because that happens to me all the time, too! Glad everything turned out in the end. It looks wonderful!
LOL Oh yeah! I've had days like that which you described! However - it looks like this page turned out none the worse for all the trouble you had - beautiful as always!
This turned out beautifully! What a gorgeous baby girl! I know what you mean about a bad scrap day. Sometimes I have the perfect pic that I can't wait to scrap and it's all downhill after that. Sometimes I have a love/hate relationship with my scrap supplies. I am glad inamorata not alone. Great LO!
I love how it turned out!!! I'm glad someone else has those kind of days, lol!! I started one the other day and put a huge rub-on upside down and don't know what to do now, lol!!!!
I can't believe I even finished this lo! What a disaster. Ever have one of those lo's that everything goes wrong? Well, this was that one! I was almost done & then a rub-on that was in my hand fell onto the layout & stuck! Had to take it apart, replace the large photo & remove the rub-on from the circle area (thank God for adhesive erasers!). Then I got ink on the bg paper & had to replace that, then 2 letters fell off & I couldn't find them! Oy! I finally put it all back together & decided enough! LOL! This is my dh being a proud Pop with one of our little grandbabies, Gretchen Olivia. I took these photos on Weds - she was almost 4 weeks old. Chipboard is scrap matts micro chips. TFL! Hope you all had a better scrap day than I did!
