Well, Annie made it. After 6 weeks of "intense" training (lol) she has graduated top of her class (of course she was the only pup in her class so that kinda helped! LOL!). Not only did she graduate, it was her first birthday as well. She got a certificate and a bunch of treats and presents from her trainer Sally. After class, she and Shea got some homemade "doggy ice cream" that I made this week for her birthday. Here's a nice recipe for homemade doggy ice cream that's healthy. 32 oz vanilla yogurt, 2 tbl honey, 2 tbl peanut butter and 1 mashed up banana. Mix all ingredients well in blender and freeze. You can use ice cube trays or even dixie cups for 1 serving treats. I poured it all back into the 32 oz yogurt container and just scoop it out with the ice cream scooper. The dogs love it! TFL!
