You sound just like me when I got my yorkie puppy little bitt, I dreamed about it for 3 years before I finally found her! Looking forward to more fabulous pages with your babies.
Oh I love your story. I think I would have had to snatch her up, I alwasy wanted a itty bitty dog. I love your flowers whatever they are. Just so precious, all of it!!
This is precious ..what adorable puppies...loved your story and so happy your puppy dreams came true. Hope they're trained soon. I have a yorkie...knew her from day she was born and got her at 9 weeks...I wanted a teeny one but she is almost 6 years old now and about 11 lbs huge for a yorkie..but she's my baby...she'll be here when my dds finally fly the coop...which won't be too soon.
What a wonderful, sweet, entertaining and most delightful story, Laurie!!!!!!!! I am SO glad you found your beautiful tiny little furbabies. Glad also that you are feeling uplifted. I can only imagine how sad it's going to be for me also when the empty nest syndrome strikes. Michael just finished his 3rd yr of college and my little Will is finishing his 3rd yr of high school in the next few weeks. I am already having palpitations when I think of Will going off to college after next year. Yikes...
Gorgeous lo, loved your story, and congrats on the new fur babies!
I just got a new fur baby about a week and a half ago - a 3 week old kitten that was abandoned by it's mother, I know the time involved in taking care of a little one!

It can be tough when kids leave home, but at least we can look back and say, we did our very best for them. Life goes on, my friend, and now you have two new hearts to fill with love, as they will yours. Enjoy every moment and TFS your story. Very pretty LO; the yellow really pops against the red.

wow,,, finally~~~ I got a page done. suddenly my life and schedule has changed... 3 weeks ago today, I was (blessed) with these two doggone cute furbabies.. and it has been like having two infant twins. (leaving no time to scrapbook) anyway, many of you may know I did not take the empty nest syndrome very well, and it actually began before my daughter got married last summer, so I went through a very tough emotional roller coaster, and I thought the answer would be to have a lap doggie, so I looked around couldn't find the one I wanted, for over a year, then I finally was adjusting to a new lifestyle without my kids living at home, and started adjusting pretty good, I was then enjoying, all the time I had to scrapbook,:) read, do puzzles, take walks, etc, so I kind of put having a puppy in the back of my mind, thinking, I will just get one the day, I find that perfect 1.. okay so 3 weeks ago (friday) hubby was going thru craigslist, just because, :) and he came across a picture of The girl puppy, and it was kind of hard to really tell how she looked, and how big, etc, because I knew the colors I wanted, the look, the age, and everything, I wanted a baby because I wanted to be able to watch her grow, and know the personality from day 1. so in my mind I really thought wow, I would really love to have 1 like at 6 weeks old, but figured that was probably just impossible because most of the time you can't get a puppy until 8 weeks old and yorkies even a little older, well, we called and met up with the owner Friday night, and the girl puppy I was going to look at was only 6 weeks old, and I thought oh wow, so of course my heart smiled, so we pulled into the parking lot, (they met up with us halfway) they got out of a truck, now keep in mind, I knew what I wanted and had dreamed about, but I really thought it was just not possible, and the looks of the photo on craigs looked like a reg size 4 pound or so puppy to me, so I was just taking my chances, well anyway, she picked her up and handed her to me, I instantly fell in love, she was the size of like a hamster, EXACTLY what I dreamed, she was 6 weeks old, she snuggled right up to my neck like a baby. my heart was melting, I had tears, I was just in awe and felt like I was in a dream ( really) remember I had empty nest syndrome and wanted to be a mommy...:) I know like every one else call me crazy.. and it is so true, especially now that I have had them for 3 weeks,, :) crazy. okay so now for the boy. so she reaches back in a box and pulled out a boy papered yorkie, and I said, what???? now way. well ( hubby and I talked a very long time ago, when we were thinking about getting a puppy that maybe we would just get 2 ( if we were going to do it) but I just figured that probably really wasnt happening. no way I'd find both puppies of my dreams,,, so I looked at the boy and again, was just in puppy heaven, my husband looked at me and then the lady and said how much for the both? I instantly thought seriously, never thought hubby would really get me 2 puppies, so the price was reasonable, but we really needed to think this over, so I was okay with that, we took my little girl home, couldn't believe I had a real live toy. so we talked about the boy. ( oh and the boy and girl are not related at all,,, the lady was just the person selling puppies for friends an elderly couple, ( the girl puppy is a yorkiepoo) and the boy is 100% yorkie... so , I didn't sleep at all. just like when you first have a newborn baby. but I had big plans the next day (sat) to go to a scrapbook get together at a church, that I get to do once a month, so I didn't want to, but I left AnnaBelle with my hubby to babysit, and we were still trying to decide on the boy, ( I was hoping she hadn't sold him to someone else over night) so my hubby called the owner, he was still available, so we talked on the phone back and forth the whole time, ( I did not get a thing done scrapbooking) finally we made the decision, yes. yes, on the boy! so hubby went and picked him up, saturday evening, and I am so happy I got both, they have each other to cuddle with, especially when I'm away from the house they have each other to play with, so AnnaBelle was born Feb 24th, and Gabrelle was born Feb 21st, so they are only a few days apart. they are now 9 weeks old already, and they were exactly what I dreamed up, even thou they have went from infant stage to crawling stage already, they still can fit inside a shoe, but compared to 3 weeks ago fitting inside a coffee cup, there big to me, they are just over a pound and a half. and I'm working extremely hard on the potty training, both potty pads and outside, so , I just don't get much done, along with having to do all the things I have to do taking care of 3 adult foster people too, scrapbooking is screaming at me, :) I think the older they get, it will get easier to find time to get some pages done, ( Oh and I will take all the tips I can get on potty training.)so with all that said, here is a picture of me and my 2 new kids,,, TFL.....and this pic was just last week, so it is not when they were so tiny,,,, some of those photos are on my FB page...
