A layout about how my dh saved my youngest ds's life.....journaling reads: Grant, I look at this gorgeous photo of you and your daddy and I am overcome with love for both of you but I also wanted you to know how very thankful I am to your Dad. On that tragic night when we almost lost you, your Daddy fought so hard to save your life. You couldn't breathe on your own and for the full 13-15 minutes that it took the ambulance to get to us, he would stick his fingers in your mouth and down your throat to clear your airway & breathe oxygen into your lungs. He repeated this process over and over and over all the while praying and pleading with God to spare your life. Dr. Slay later told us that without the oxygen that Daddy continually gave you, you would not be the normal, healthy little boy you are today. I am so thankful that God used your Father to spare your life. You are a blessed little boy!!
