OMG....this is to die for. I wish I had snuck a peek before I finished my album. I would have definitely been inspired by this layout. There is so much texture and beautiful color combo. And that little bird in the corner just rocks. Beautiful layout and so well designed.
Wow Lori....Awesome LO...and incredible story. How hard it must be to go through that...my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Very touching lo, it must have been so hard on your son and your family to through such a difficult time. I am so happy that both tumers were benign. Good luck on his next MRI. Hope everything turns out well and he is healthy. Good luck and it's a beautiful page.
Oh Lori, I had no idea- I can't imagine how hard this has been for your family. I'll keep you all in my prayers. This is such a beautiful and touching LO! Love the pretty flourishes and pp's!
OH my goodness, I can't imagine the heartache dealing with something so big, so much out of your hands, and when its your baby that had to be almost sickening to you. I'm so glad that both tumors have been noncancerous. ITs been a week since you posted he must of had his MRI I hope everything is perfect!
Thank you for sharing your layout that has such an emotional connection to your heart. I pray he has a long and healthy life!!
Oh Lori, this must be so difficult for you, you're son and your family. I can only imagine how hard this must be. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the next MRI.
This is such a lovely page with beautiful details!
Dear friend, I will be thinking of you and sending you a big hug!!!!
Ingrid
This is a beautiful and very touching way to document what he and you have been through. Love the photo and the pretty colors you used. Also those flourishes are so cool....love how you decorated them with the teeny flowers. Cute angel pp.
This is beautiful...do know what you're going thru, my daughter Catherine has a brain tumor also, but..she is 34..and refuses to deal with it. Will say prayers for him and for you...hang in there! Hugs! Sondra :-)
this is a nice lo, Sorry about your son, I know how you feel sad I bet. I get like that with my Mommy when her sickness makes her real sick. I will keep you and your son in my prayers like I do my Mommy.
Hi Lori! I am so sorry Will has to go through this, but thank God those tumors were benign! This is such a BEAUTIFUL lo and I don't know how I could have overlooked it! I love all your embellishments, too!
Oh, Lori. I didn't know that about Will. What a wonderful photo of the two of you. The pp you chose here are so sweet. Love how you put a little pink on a boy layout. I have done that a few times too. Your flourishes are sooooo pretty. Terrific page. I saw this featured tonight on the front page.
Awww Lori!! What a sweet, sweet story. This layout is so soft and sweet. Love the photo of you together, the cute paper and the great job you did with all the flourishes, punches and flowers! Fav!
What a beautiful layout; but my heart goes out to you Lori - that you, your lovely Will and all your family have been through so much. The paper colours are so soft and sensitive and reflect the beautiful photo of the two of you. You know how I love swirls(!) and the ones you used here are stunning. I love it!
Wow!!!! Yet another thing we have in common!!!! Both of our sons are WIlliam. YOur William and I both have brain tumors!! I too need an MRI every 6 months. But I was only diagnosed in March so my next one is in Sept. It is also benign-pituitary adenoma. Causes sever headaches. I could not imagine a young boy going through what he went and must continue to go through!!! Cannot imagine what you went through as a mom! Surprisingly scrapping helps with the headaches. Tell your William, that when I get a headache or become depressed, I will think of him and his strength. If he can do it, and his was the size of a tennis ball, then I can deal with mine!!! Thanks for sharing your story!!!!
Wow, Lori. It's a beautiful layout. That said, it makes me very sad to think that any child should have to go through so much. But thankfully the tumors were benign and he looks like a very healthy young man now. You are truly blessed. Thanks for sharing that story with us!
xx, Sharon
PRECIOUS LO!!!! BEAUTIFULY DONE!!! I LOVE THE SOFT COLORS, DESING AND ADORABLE PHOTO!!!! AND I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS WHEN OUR KIDS GOT THROUGHT A HEATH PROBLEM. WHEN MY DD HAS 4 MOTHS SHE GOT MENINGYTIS AND SHE WAS IN INTESIVE CARE UNIT FOR SO MANT DAYS BUT, GOD GIVES HER HEALT AND TO ME AN ANGEL TOO!!

This is absolutely gorgeous! and what a great photo! your description just makes my heart ache! I cannot imagine the worry you must have been through for that darling boy! Such a blessing, our children! so thankful that he is okay....and he sounds like such a fighter! and so do you! Hugs to you my friend! -Nancy
WOW! What a strong son you have!! No doubt he gets that from you. This is a beautiful LO!! Love that you used several techniques. I will keep you both in my prayers for his upcoming test.
Lori, I don't even know where to start. First of all my love to your precious son and I will certainly keep him in my prayers. What a hard journey this has had to be for you. My love and best to all of you. This is a beautiful Lo. Love everything about it . The design and the colors are perfect. Into my favs for sure~~~
How blessed you are to have each other. Your love shines for your sons in your LOs. nice punching. The bird is sweet. I like how you put his name on the slide. :)
I can not imagine Lori. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the upcoming MRI. The details and design of this page are so lovely and really outstanding. I love it all, but my personal favorite, something I am going to lift from you in future for sure, is the trim showing from beneath the punching. Fave and inspire, not to mention heart-warming!
This is so pretty! Love the pps especially that with the baby on it. I love all of it. Poor baby. Not so much a baby anymore but he's still YOUR baby. (My oldest "baby" is now 16). My prayers will be with your whole family as he gets yet another MRI.
Will and me in 1998. This precious little boy (now 15) has been through so much in his young life. He was diagnosed with a brain tumour (the size of a tennis ball) when he was 8 yrs old. It recurred 3 yrs later. He has been though two 6-hour craniotomies. I can't help but to cry as I write this; as a mother it was so hard to have watched this little child go through such ordeals. Thankfully, both times the tumours were benign. He needs MRI's every six months (his next one is next week). Will is one of the sweetest, kindest and most remarkable child I have ever known (of course, I may be somewhat biased!). We are so blessed to have this little boy!
I cut the flourishes, lacy border, bird and branches with my Silhouette. Swarovski cystals are on some of the flowers.
