This is my take on the Sept. color challenge. Sorry for the scan - it's a little funky on the bottom. There is a white rub-on of the word "my" on the circle S if it doesn't show.
Journaling reads: "I can remember loving this picture since I was a little girl. I played with it so often that it definitely shows some wear & tear (thank goodness for image editing software - hehehe)! I loved it because Dad took & developed it. I loved it because it was black & white. I loved it because I thought it was fun to see what we looked like when we were so young. I still love it for all those reasons, but I've added a few more. I love it because it reminds me what a wonderful childhood we had. I love it because it reminds me that we fit our roles as oldest & youngest perfectly. You were a leader, I was a follower. I thought you were bossy, you thought I was a baby. We looked alike, but we were different. You were daring, I was shy. You rode horses, I played with dolls. We've had our ups and downs. We will always be different. But, we have grown to appreciate those differences. And it's nice to know that you will always be my big sister & I will always be your little sister."
