Since is this the only picture I have of my parents holding me as a baby I decided to make this my title/cover page for my BOM.

This was made for several challenges:
1) ugly paper challenge. The striped paper and the bamboo paper and the letters were what I received in the mail. (I know, I lucked out)

2) Book of me page

3) Abc challenge Q-quilt, R- ribbon S- sandpaper, IRL the lo is much prettier pinks/magentas and a real silk pale pink ribbon around the outer edge. I sanded the edges of the bg paper, but didn't like the look, so inked it up with magenta ink. I cut the hinges from my silhouette from one of the ugly papers, then I sanded them down and inked them with Tim Holtz distress ink vintage photo. Again, looks better IRL

4) week 1 Monochrome, Magenta with twist of fabric. I used a thick thread to tie the mini album together and the pink outer ribbon is actually silk seam binding.
