I did this for two challenges:
1. The ugly paper challenge. I loved the background paper and the colors. But the secondpp is the red white and blue plaid which I wasn't too keen of but it still worked. I used it for the matting. Someone else got a zipper as their embellishment and I thought it was cool. DaNel Hicks uses zippers in lo's and I liked the look, so I attempted using one. I hand stitched it. Behind the zipper is hidden journaling about my past relationship. I have no regrets and has some of my best times with him. We parted on good terms. OH, the ugly embellishment were these two plastic covered eggs. I used one as the pull tab for my hidden journalling... I have pulled out slightly so you can see, it looks good nicely tucked in.
2. Week 4 of Round Robin. I lifted ScrappyNichole's "Abby's pumpkin PJs" It's funny because the original lift started with one of my lo's and this looks nothing like it!
