The picture has butterflies, birds flourishes, ballerina dancers, doily, pastel colors. For me I saw it as being free. My daughter stayed with her friends for a couple days after school let out and came home with red highlights. That night she took a shower and tied her WET hair back. In the morning it was all wild and curly. She has very thick straight hair. My daughter does her own thing, doesn't listen to me nor anyone else. She's very intelligent but hasn't developed common sense. Deep inside her is a very creative person but she's stifled by our surroundings, her friends and our economic situation, that I think she's afraid to blossom to her full potential and I saw that inspiration picture as being who she can be. So, when I saw this wild hair do she woke up I thought it fit her personality!

** Kit swap challenge - I host a kit swap and started challenging everyone to use their kits. Except for the three pp's I used to make the half circles, everything was from the rainbow kit I got from Pebbles. At my daughter's high school, they started a GLBT club. Her and her friends are very active in it. While my daughter is boy crazy, she has many friends that are gay and/or bisexual. So, while she does not wave the colors of the rainbow, she is colorful! She has stopped a lot of gay bashing at her school.

*** Scraplift the person before you. I got to lift from JackeetheGreat. She has lots of color and inspirational lo's in her gallery. In fact the first time I looked through her gallery I was having the one of the worst days with my daughter. Going through her gallery uplifted my spirit. I lifted the left side of her two page lo called "The Guys" found here:
http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/185893/view/2909331/0/20/1.html It was very colorful and it had the same feel as the other challenge I was doing.
