I absolutely love this one. It stuck out to me, that's why I wanted to comment. Seeing that you're unhappy with it, though, can you ink the edges of silk flowers? That would make them stick out for sure and make them look a little rough, which would be nice. But really, great job!
Pretty! If you want the leaves to show up more you could try outlining the leaves with a gel pen or stickles. Or mabye you could sand the background paper a little to make it less dominate.
Pretty! I really like the silk leaves. I think it looks great now. If you want the silk leaves to stand out more from the background you could try outlining them a gold gel pen or stickles. Or you could lightly sand the background paper.
Those are silk leaves? I would have sworn they were real. Do repost if you re-do it. I actually like the LO. The only suggestion I'd make is to overlap a copule of the silk leaves onto the photos to make them more obvious from the background.
beautiful colors. i see what you mean about the leaves blending though. My only idea is to take the photos and leaves off, then trim the PP on the diagonal around the leaf pattern and post that 1/2 of it on black background. Put the photos back down and then add the silk leaves to the black part slightly touching the photos like they've fallen on there.
can you move the leaves or are they attached? If you can move them, you might want to place them together between the photos or something (anchor them a bit). You could also add some journaling on white strips, this would make it pop a bit
This is page 2 of a 2-pager. The photo isn't very good of the layout. I'm not real happy with this layout, but since it is the first one I've done in months, I'm going to wait before I change it. I love the background paper, but the silk leaves blend in too much. It looks OK in the photo, but not IRL. Any pointers?
