First I want to say that this is IN NO WAY religious, it's about an emotional state. Ok, now that that's out of the way, lol. I'm having some negative things going on in my life, and I just wanted to express some of the way I'm feeling on a layout. The lo is named after a song I love by Machine Head, and it's very heavy, literally! The background paper is glued onto a solid peice of chipboard, and the bracket shape was traced onto a solid sheet of chipboard then covered in modeling paste, so it's got some weight to it. And I did a little bit of distressing by fire on the black cardstock.
The photo is actually of a beautiful white resin angel in my garden. At Halloween, she always leaves the garden to watch over the little graveyard we make up (which explains the rat at the bottom of the photo). I was playing around in PSE awhile back, and applied a negative effect to it and a few other things, and thought it looked neat. And it turned out to be the perfect pic for what I wanted to do with this.
Anyway, this was done with the October Scraps of Darkness kit, Morticia's Wish.
Thank you for stopping by, your comments are always appreciated!
