This lo is about the importance our neighbors played in my ds's life as she was growing up.
This was the first time I used free rotation on a digital page, and I was happy with the results.
There is hidden journaling behind the hand-embellished (out of necessity, not necessarily choice) tag that reads:
"A big part of Diane’s childhood was the neighborhood she grew up in. Even though we lived in Detroit, you chose an area were we could be a part of a larger, extended family that included neighbors of all ages and backgrounds. This no doubt influenced Diane to live in Gibraltar after she married. This was a community she felt strong enough about to raise her family in and even become President of the PTO. She, too, wanted her children to feel a part of an extended community."
