i love this- the photo is so precious w/ mace holding his little treasures, and your journaling make me think of all we have to look forward to w/ ds. i like the journalign on the note paper- i've got to try that.
Wow! I love this Amy! The black & white combo is a good choice and I love your letters, the photo corner and that cute note paper (like Leanne, I'm just wondering if it's acid free? just curious tho'). Anyhow, Mace looks cute and I love the way his eyes have catchlights!
I really like how everything stands out, but still flows. I think the black and white are perfect with the orange in his shirt and allows the photo to stand out. I love the white title on the black. It looks stellar (the only word that comes to mind).
This is a very nice layout. I can see why you like it. My favorite part is the list of things he is almost ready for. The photo is crisp. With his bright orange Winnie the Pooh shirt he and his dark hair and eyes your ds stands out well against the black and whites in your papers and embellies. Even his lips seem to have atouch of arrange reflected from the shirt. The photo corner in the upper right looks like metal and therefore is a nice touch, but it stays on the masculine side and does not make his lo seem to frufru for a boy. The striped paper picks up on the embroidery in his shirt and adds energy to reflect the seemingly boudless energy of a little boy. It is good that you make pages of your older son around the time that you bring hoe a new baby, because it shows the elder son that he is special to you too, and he will think of his little brother as a welcome addtion, rather than as a competitor for your affection. Show him this layout and talk to him about why you love him, and I predict it will reduce sibling rivalry. Maybe it will also inspire him to learn the potty trainin too to show how mature he is. That is a wy he can differentiate himself from his baby brother. And then of course, the baby will want to show you too how quickly he can do potty training. Its a win-win. Scrapping is good for so many things isn't it?
Great page! I love the bright pic against the dark paper. It really makes it pop. I also just love that list, and it is very cute on the notepad paper. I totaly relate. I have a daughter that is 2 1/2 and it sounds just like what is going on at our house!! That photo corner looks so good too. Is that metal? or pp? Wonderful job. Wouldn't change a thing.
Love it!!! This is terrific! I think it's great that the pic is the only colorful thing on the page. That little list looks great. Is it just torn from a notepad, or is it scrapbook paper? I like everything about this!
This lo is of the professional pcs we had taken of Mace right before he turned two.
The journaling reads: "Means almost ready for: Real conversations temper tantrums greater imagnation'ABCs and 123s play dates big boy bed potty training lots more "I love yous" and so much more"
