I have decided I need to do heritage pages this is the Wearne family who is who we do not know I can pick out one or two I think so I think I can date it to about 1915 ??
A very fascinating story you will notice there are no men they have gone to Austrailia to mine gold in fact the father John Samson Wearne did strike gold in 1890s and came home with his wife and baby daughter to Cornwall then settled with his new found wealth but by early 1900s was struggling so decided to return to Australia and as the years went on his sons followed him one by one!
One of his daughters that were left behind married my great uncle. I have a lot of embossing on the chippies and wood embellies and even the little chair I have copied the photo just as it is very fragile and stuck together with sellotape thank you for stopping by have a wonderful weekend x
