I was hesitant at first to use this background, but then it grew on me and I thought it was perfect.

Journaling tag reads: You were born Tuesday 2.17.09 in the middle of the night at my brothers house. I went to see you the very next Saturday. I had never held a newborn puppy before. All the puppies were adorable. My favorite by far, was you. Your eyes were closed and your ears still lay pinned back. So tiny and helpless. As you grew in the next few weeks, I would come by and visit and I would pick you up first, hold you in my arms. I just loved your little brown face. You were the first one born and the first one to take my heart. It was you that I picked. It was you that I brought home. It is you that I love.

I know its kinda cheesy to write it like he'll someday ever read this (LOL!!), but the other way seemed very "sterile". Does that makes sense??
