My third entry.

The top and bottom are cut off from the scan...imagine a very thin white accent strip at the very top and bottom of the page. Also, the sides of the page were slightly cut off too. The photo corners are more uniform than what they seem in this graphic.

Journaling:
Anne: Mom when we get back from the library, can I go to school so I can do my homework?
Me: Where’s school?
Anne: China.
Me: Oh…where’s China?
Anne: (pointing her sweet finger north) it’s that way. You turn and down the hall, an turn and doorway and that’s my school (these are directions to her room from the room we were in.)
Me: Oh, sure, you can go to school when we get back.

Dad, why do you put whipped cream on your armpits?
(said while watching daddy put deodorant on)

My butt-hole is being selfish.
(said when she couldn’t poop)

When I get bigger like a woman, can I try on your bra sometime if it fits?

The super-hero has to go pee pee!
(said after running around with a blanket around her as a cape)

Mom, I love you all the way to my heart.

You go front turn left front again go left and someplace else. (describing how to get to Kiki’s house to Joy)

Mom, don’t cry you have butterflies in your heart.

Me: Anne, leave your socks on.
Anne: But Mom, I need to take my socks off so I don’t crack the muscles in my foot.
(said while “practicing” flips on the couch which she announced was good exercise)
