This is really pretty - great pp to go with a great photo! Maybe if the vellum just looked like it continued behind the photo and off the left side of the page under that ribbon? That might unify the elements a bit more.... and I like the pink matt idea a lot. This is a very subtle layout that wouldn't have occurred to me.

I was going to say what Danielle and Senora said.. if you could make the velum flow with the shape behind it.. it would be perfect! I love the colors and the papers, it's so vintage-like. Very soft and sweet!
This is beautiful! I love the b/w pic with the soft pp. With the soft colors and curves the vellum does stand out a bit. I think primas would add a nice softness to the vellum.
I just love this one - so tender and sweet!! I think the only thing that I might change is the vellum - the straight edges just don't flow with the oval it is on. Can you round it at all? I assume you hand cut that title?! WOw!
Oooh! I love txscrapper's suggestion. That would pick out the colour in the floral embellishment also! You could also try (if you wanted to) gently inking the pic or vellum in that pretty pinky colour! Again I have to tell you this lo is sooo adorable!
This is very pretty! I love the oval. If you want to change something, maybe try matting the photo with cardstock that matches the pale pink flowers in the floral paper.
Oh this is soo adorable! What a darling pic! I too may be tempted to add some of those cute prima's to the vellum (perhaps two corners diagonally opposite). I really like the floral oval, also the hand cut title. Beatiful job on this!!
Had trouble pulling this one up, but it was worth the wait--beautiful! I feel like a few of the primas on the vellum might look good. Love the font of the title!
Oh, how beautiful and soft this one is, and how beautiful those girls are too! I just love the look of this, it's got a heritage look, but then again, it's more of a homespun look to it. Just beautiful!!!
Journaling: Aria and Anne, our two beautiful girls. Right now they hardly even look like sisters, and yet they are reflecting a bit of each other’s personality in this photo. Aria, with her goofy grin, reflect Anne’s silly 3 and a half year old nature, while, Anne with that gorgeous supermodel pose, is reflecting the quiet beauty that we’ve come to expect from Aria. However, even in reflecting each other, they are showing us themselves. Anne is eatiful and Aria is smiley all the time. We can't wait for the years to come to see how their personalities grow together.
