Made for the March swap, commemorating Girl Scouts of America Each card started out being inked and stamped, then embossed with different types of embossing powders. Then I used Girl Scout stickers from EK Success. The top card has the cookie stickers on it along with the symbol stickers. I used clear embossing powder on its border. Platinum Smooch for some details along with clear stickles.
The card on the bottom left started with a crystal embossed border, but I thought it needed a little something in the background so I played with some of my markers and pens - I wrote out some of the words of the Girl Scout Law on the back, but I still wasn't completely content with how the card was looking - so I sprayed some Goosebumps Shimmer on it, and it seemed to help. Then I put the symbol stickers on some black and yellow cardstock and then cut them out to add them to the card. After it was all dry I added the dew drops to the card to finish it.
The bottom right card started with gold embossing on the top and bottom. With a very fine pen I wrote in some of the words to the Girl Scout Law along the edges of the embossed borders, then I took some of the stickers that I had put on other colored cardstock and added them. The center part is made from two types of cardstock that I punched the corners with the Stampin' Up ticket punch then inked, the words, "to...make the world a better place..." comes from the Girl Scout Law. I finished up the card with gold stickles.
