This is a pic of my dd after getting her Learner's License.
Journaling: Today is Hannah's Birthday and we went to Blueridge, Ga to get her Learner's License. Hannah was so nervous! She studied her driver's manual most of the way, but as we got closer the more nervous she got. When we turned on Highway 515, she said, "Oh no, were almost there", then we turned at June Walker Chevrolet and she said, "Oh no, we're here", then we turned on the road the State Patrol office was on and she said, "Oh no, we really are here". I got so tickled at her. When we went in, we had to get a number (G707) and wait for about 15 minutes, but to her it seemed like eternity. Finally, they called her number and we went up to sign her in. The lady officer made a few jokes with her and broke the ice a little. We had to wait 15 more minutes when they called her name to take the written test. She told me not to look over at her because she could feel me looking at her. I got tickled at her again. She began her test and when she was finished she looked over at me and had the biggest grin on her face. She knew she had passed! The other officer, Officer Cole was proud of her and gave her a few pointers about driving, then handed her her license. I was a proud Mama! I was so excited for her. We went out to the car and of course I took out my trusty camera for that "Kodak Moment". I took her to lunch at a restaurant in Blueridge that my best friend Patti told us about called Bluejeans. She said, "Mama, I can't even eat because my stomach is still nervous". What an exciting day for a 15 year old girl.
