I can't remember who's idea it was to go see Mono Lake in California, but yuuuuccckkkyyy!! This has to go down as the worst hike we've been on EVER! It is the saltiest lake in the USA and certainly smells like it. It was stinky, and navigating among the rocks to get closer to get a better picture was hazardous and shoe ruining. I think i complained the whole time we were there. Not my usual attitude, but i was more than glad to get out of there.
