Have to admit that i got the idea from hereiam, who states she got it from a video from Jen Schow. Using rub-ons for a photo mat. Love it, love it, love it! I thing it came out good.
Journaling: A Day at the Beach..... Longbeach, Washington that is. One day of our vacation we asked Dan's Dad where he'd like to go and he said, "Well, how about going to Longbeach:". Well, why not? I was informed that it was the longest beach int he United States. It didn't matter to me, I just love oeans and if we were going to be near one, I was game. Along the way, Dan told me how he and friends would bicycle to this beach! AND some of it was uphill, and around blind curves! He did this a few times! OMG! Teenagers are the craziest people. In the picture on the left, Dan stands on what i call rocky bluffs where his parents would fish and let their kids play among the rocks leading down to the OCEAN! (subject of another lo) In Texas, a day at the beach would include swimsuits, sunscreen, going into the water and laying under an umbrellas to stay out of the sun. Not so here. That water was cold Even thought the weather was nice and the sun was shining enough for Dan to take off his shirt, it was not your typical beach day. There were several driftwood structures on the beach, and i wondered at the events that built them. I had Dan pose in one of them. My sweetie is my bestest guy! Love him much!
