Journaling: We were walking through Playa del Carmen, taking in the sights, looking for a particular restaurant that we ate at the last time we were there (never did find it!), when we came upon this apparition. Only in Xcaret had i seen something similar. We were at some distance and we caught him photo-bombing an oriental couple taking pics. We watched him for a while longer and I told Dan I wanted to give him a tip. I had no intentions of taking a photo with him, but when he saw Dan dropping the money, he asked me if i wanted a picture. I hesitantly said okay. He stood up on the statue and told me where to stand and he told me to spread out my arms- and said, "Come fly with me." 11/2016
