Hi! Again, thanks for letting us use your layout. The blog post is now live and you can check it out here: https://scrapbookcampus.com/2022/05/theme-awards/ :-)
So, it's great to be recognized for longevity, and UT did it in a big way. We were invited to a gathering of employees who had been there for at least 5 years and up to 25 years. It was called the Star Awards and in my memory, it was the first event of it's kind. Six of Sienna Village's employees were invited, but Tia and Anahi declined to go due to various reasons. In truth, if Tia hadn't declined, I wouldn't have been able to go, as I was covering. It was great, if a bit disconcerting. We were greeted with red carpets and plenty of photographers. There was food and drinks and plenty of opportunity to meet and greet fellow employees. There were also different booths to have pics and even videos taken. Jennifer and I shied away from those and mostly kept to ourselves. However, Liz and Wined embraced the experience and sampled everything that was offered. They eventually convince me and Jennifer to join them in a video where the technician advised us that the more we "move" , the better the video. The picture below is a still from that video. Some people at the clinic were surprised that I was that animated. Me too.
