For Laura's ballet recital album...
My mother surprised me with a box of old antique lace from my great grandmother's sewing basket. I was so excited to use it in my scrapbooks! I used some to make the lace flowers and some of the trim on this page. I machine stitched over the faint criss-cross background pattern to make it stand out more. I made the title with my Cricut. I cut the outter edge with wavy scissors, inked the edges, then curled it up with my fingers after softening it with water... my version of a technique I saw CraftySprinkles use.
