The Journey is the Destination

My first attempt at distressing and using masks and my new Glimmer Mists. So far, I'm in love!!
Our customary self-portrait from the Grand Canyon last October. I haven't written on the 'post card' journal yet, but wanted to post this page anyway! We went to the Grand Canyon with my parents last Fall to celebrate my 30th and my mom's 65th birthdays. Nothing puts your age into purspective like 3-million year-old rocks! :)
I think I distressed everything except the flourish, which I still used the distress ink on it to make it less bright. Need to practice with the mists as they can come out really fast! Thanks for looking! :)
