Give a Cheer
I have been wanting to scrap this photo for a while now, but just wasn't feeling the papers I had. When I got my Ugly Papers for June, I knew it was time! This is for two challenges:
- June Ugly Paper challenge;
- Page Maps 29 week 4.
The pink and orange papers in the background and what was used to make the butterflies and tickets were my uglies and the Johnny Bravo and fairy stickers were the uglie embellies.
Now for the fun part! This is my DH and his friend being their usual goofy selves... My friend and I had gone to a Crop Night at M's one Friday night. Unbeknownst to us, these two had been planning all week, covertly asking about our plans, so that they could show up and surprise us! They tell us the pink shirts were totally unplanned (*cough* BS *cough cough*!) As we were scrapping away, and I was showing a new scrapper the Cricut, we heard someone ask 'Is this the scrapbooking room?' When we turned around, there was my DH and his friend in their pink shirts!! My husband's shirt said Drama Queen on it - I got it for him at Abercrombie when we first started dating - I couldn't believe he found it!
Well after we stopped laughing, we got them to pose for a picture (of course) and they left to go have beers and hot wings while we scrapped away, giggling every few minutes! Then we joined them afterwards. Of course they changed out of their pink shirts before they got to the bar, but I wasn't surprised by that! LOL Truly a unique memory!
And, in case you're wondering about that poor newbie... well they scared her right out of there! LOL
