Incredible. Wow, this is a gorgeous vintage lo, with a really interesting story to go along with it. Love all the different techniques and details, nice lacing and layering work.
Whoa! This is just a fantastic vintage style page! How lucky you are to have such amazing photos! You added touches of lace and the chain and key are just perfect!
wow, this is gorgeous! Love all the little details. Those are great photos and cool how you have the names and dates. I have a stack of family photos that look similar to that time period but no idea who any of the people are.
All of your hard work shows off here. Very nice details. Love the watch. For the invitation, perhaps a companion page to go in the album next to this lovely one.
Truly lovely design... and all the textures, the lacing, the chipboard, and buttons make up a beautiful vintage layout. And what a wonderful treasure trove of heritage photos you have. Beautiful!!!

These photos are of one of my paternal great grandparents' wedding day on May 24th, 1899. This is my grandmother's parents, Carl & Esther Steele, both of whom immigrated to the U.S. from Sweden; Carl 'Charlie' in 1887 at the age of 17 and Esther in approx 1884 at the age of 3. We don't have much on either side of my family, but my dad's side is significantly more than my mom's. My aunt even found their wedding invitation, but I couldn't figure out how to get a copy of it on the LO w/o taking away from the page. I'll add it later perhaps, along with a journal! The upper photo is a group wedding shot, but we don't know much about it other than that Charlie and Esther are the top right couple. Perhaps other relatives are here, but we just don't know.
I painted the watch with acrylic paints then topped the outside with Glimmer Glaze and rubbed a little Tea Dye into the face. Then I drew the numbers back in with an art pen and used a crackle medium on the face. I left the hands to where they can be moved and had them set to the time of their wedding, but now I see they moved, so will have to re-do it!
I water distressed the main paper and tea dyed the doilies.
