For the August Round Robbin; Week 1 with 'paint' twist, and for the August Technique Challenge: punches, fussy cuts, paint.

I have changed the layout for this photo so many times. It was originally going to be my monochromatic - Adobe for the July Monochrome challenge, but I just couldn't make it work how I wanted it. So I put the photo in time out for a while and suddenly inspiration struck! I'm SO happy with this page now! :)

Lots of technique on here. I used my four new punches - vines, arches, postage stamp and lace. I painted the wooden vine flourish with glimmer glaze as well as several distress inks and painted the butterfly die cuts with glimmer glam. I fussy cut out some leaves from the gorgeous Indian Summer kit by BasicGrey. I also made the little blue flowers by using the lace punch and water distressing. I tried making the vine punches look as much like the background paper vines as I could with distress inks. I also stamped the secondary title and the gold wording. As an afterthought, I added the ribbon and fleur de lis.
