Using pieces from three of my previous fabulous Scraps of Darkness kits: Marrakesh Express cardstock (July), Envy (August), and Passages (September). This is our new kitten, Gabriella (Gabi for sort) at 6 weeks old. She was rescued off the streets by my dh's co-workers and we adopted her. She was less than a pound when we brought her home at 6 weeks, but has put on about half a pound since then and is a fun and playful little kitten. We are coming to terms with the fact that she may be deaf as she does not react to loud noises like normal kittens - but it doesn't seem to bother her at all! Our big cat, Lucifer (Luci for short) is still getting used to her, but she has started playing with her as if she was 6 months old again, instead of 6 years old! They make an entertaining dinner theater for us!
Oh what a silly little kitten Gabi is! About 3 days after we got her, we opened the bathroom door to where she's staying and caught her red pawed freeing the toilet paper from its roll! We've caught her a few times since, but she willingly let us take pictures the first time. Now she scampers off cuz she knows she's been caught! We learned real fast that you cant leave the toilet paper hanging - even a little - or she will get to it!
This is for four challenges:
- Chippie using the fabulous chipboards we received from 3tailscraft - the little butterfly that I misted with glimmer mist and the base I used for the title, which I covered in paper.
- Monochrome Challenge: Week 4 Lime w/ blue
- Round Robbin: Week 3 Group 8 and is a lift of the lovely ScraphappyNicole's LO 'Cookie's Apple Adventure' here: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/85232/view/3406305/-1.html I also did the twist of adding wire elements with the little flourishes by the flowers.
- Paints & Mists Challenge - using Gesso. I used bubble wrap to smear messy-looking paw-like prints around the page. Also misted and inked the papers and water distressed the green bg ppr.
I'm also adding this to the Cricut Challenge as I used my fave Mother's Day Bouquet cart on the large flower and leaves and Making the Grade cart on the title.
TFL!
