Awesome job. I saw that image while I was doing my history lesson on the artist and trying to figure out which to do. I loved it but didn't know how to work it. You did and it looks great.
Another challenge for Ms Missy's Anything Goes ATC swap. We had to choose an artist from a list she gave us. I am really drawn to O'Keefe's work which is odd since it is really nothing like my own vintage style. So in that case I did not make this a vintage atc. O'keefe always wore black so I started with a black background then put some paintings on it to make it look like a gallery behind her. The pic of her was taken in 1950. The painting is entitled, Ram's Skull with Hollyhock and was the first in her floating skull series. She started these when she moved to the Southwest to live on The Ghost Ranch. I think some of her best work comes from that period.
