My first layout with the October Swirlydoos kit; I used the sketch from Beggahuna (an exclusive in each kit) and MandaK's idea of using the leaf circle (another exclusive) as a mask.
My father would rake piles of leaves onto an old quilt, bundle it into the wheelbarrow, and take it to the curb. We enjoyed riding on the pile with Dad swerving the wheelbarrow and then dumping us with the leaves!!
The second picture is probably a double exposure, but it's a good shot of me and Jean and the tams that my mother knitted for us.
