Based on this month’s Beggahuna original sketch, a feature of every Swirlydoos kit.
The pp and flowers are from the December Divine Noel kit. The background trees were made with the last of the Grunge Paper that I received from Cheryl. (The stuff is awesome!!) I used the applicator and pounced and twisted to get the colors and shading that I wanted. I die cut the frames from packaging cardboard that I had saved. The title was cut out on my Cricut using the Opposites Attract cartridge.

A wonderful family tradition: my son and daughter-in-law picking and cutting down their Christmas tree. My granddaughter is now 19 months old and while not quite understanding Santa and trees, she’s eager to participate and learn about all that goes around her.
The day started pretty well. They were greeted by Santa Claus at the entrance to the farm and started to search for the perfect tree. Sophia wandered with them, taking the occasional break to sit and snack on goldfish. When Bill selected their tree, she was transfixed by the sawing. And then the tree fell. Evidently, Daddy had killed the tree, and she sobbed and sobbed and needed a lot of hugs before she would calm down.

As promised, my daughter-in-law took pictures and posted them on Facebook as soon as possible.
