This is my father's WWII portrait. He served in the Army Air Corp as a waist gunner in the “Flying Fortress” bombers that ran sorties over France and Germany, starting with the ball bearing factory in Schweinfort.

I made this layout at Camp, using the June "Looking Glass" kit from Swirlydoos. Krissy had been challenged to come up with a "masculine" kit and boy, did she come though!!!
I kept this one pretty simple, mainly because I was so interested in seeing all of the wonderful techniques and design ideas that my Swirly Sisters were using. So, no flowers, just some distressing and inking, a punched border and the wonderful TH die to set it all off.
