My beautiful daughter-in-law and my equally beautiful granddaughter. (Guess who she takes after?)

I made this page for the Swirly May Round Robin that I just happen to be hosting.
I'm afraid that I got a little giddy about twists: I'm not only asking entrants to follow Lynne Forsythe's "Flatties into Fatties" tutorial, I'm also challenging them to include their flowers as part of a tag or ATC. One more twist: since it's May and all, the theme itself is "Mother" in any way, shape or form...

As the hostess, I did my best to go along with each and every twist:
I altered some of my Prima E-Line flatties by lightly coloring with a bit of distress ink and then stamping them with the stamp that came with the April kit. After folding and gluing, I adhered them to the ATC that is in the bottom of my page.
And for the second twist, why stop at one? Not only did I create an ATC, I also made the tag that mats the side of my photo.
For the third twist, I've scrapped this mother & daughter photo taken by my DS last week; my DIL's smile perfectly captures what motherhood is all about.

Except for the E-Line flowers, the seam binding ribbon and the molding paste and stencil, all that you see here was included in the April Kit from Swirlydoos.
