I think this picture of you is adorable! Fabulous layout. Great background with wonderful layers. Sorry about the perm Peggy. I like to think of my young perm days as learning to overcome obstacles, you know growing pains.
Oh gads, Peggy~ I remember the days of the Toni perms. My mom insisted that I get one on a regular basis, and at least part of my hair never took to the chemicals. So I had curls, frizz, and straight strands. It was a mess. And mom always somehow made me feel like it was my fault. LOL. I think that we need to document life. And this photo, and the memories attached to it, are your life. It's a lovely project, as all of your work is. I've been stalking your gallery, even if I haven't commented on every page. I've always loved your creations. I love especially the soft pastels on this white piece of beautiful.
Well, I think the picture is adorable!!! I do love the story behind it, though- so funny!!! Love your design, and the title is just perfect for this!!!!
This picture of a six-year-old me is wrong in so many ways. I'm facing the sun and either I'm squinting or my eyes are shut. The shadows on my face are so sharp that my nose and mouth are distorted. Most of all (and this has nothing to do with the sun), there is my hair. Now, I was born with baby-fine, straight hair and it has stayed this way all of my life. Back in the day, the solution for this was the Tonette Children's Home Permanent, which left my hair so very, very frizzy for the first few weeks.
