I love this! I'm trying to plan a page for me (having turned 30 in September) and trying to get ideas. I love how you used the journaling to describe yourself at this point in your life. Totally agree, it's very feminine, but not too 'pinky'.

Now That I'm Thirty

A lo with me and my oldest daughter for my 30th birthday. The picture was actually taken about a week earlier on Easter, but I couldn't resist using this picture with my mom's beautiful triple bloom azalea bushes as a back drop. Very simple lo, but that's how I wanted it. The envelope in top left corner holds journaling about how I feel now that I'm thirty. My favorite things to do, read, wishes, proudest accomplishments, etc. I don't think I've ever used these colors before, and I was VERY pleased at how soft and feminine it turned out, without using too much pink. The colors in the picture aren't very true, the lo is actually a deep red color. TFL!!!
