I did 2 LO yesterday with the same family photo of DS1, DIL, & of course the cuties~~Andrew & Lauren. The reason for 2 is so both kids can have a lo in their own album.
This is a technique out of MM's Michelle Gerbrant's book "Creative Paper Techniques for Scrapbookers" and it's called "Bargello Mat". That is the diamond in the center then I triple matted the photo. The bg pp is plain cardstock and I would have put an outside framing border except I had already glued down the "2009". This was what I was thinking of when I was having so much trouble with Andrew's other LO! (LOL at me!!!) TFL...
